The rules are simple...there's a hat, this hat is filled with many questions ranging from the personal to the off beat.  We pass the hat, and artists gets a chance to answer the question they choose from said hat.  Fun is had by all.

We got to chat with the unique Electo-Pop trio, Lo Moon, at Johnny Brenda's before opening for MUNA's sold out show in Philadelphia.  You may have discovered their only currently released song, "Loveless" floating around the internet as of late.  We weren't sure what to expect going into the show but we were blown away with Lo Moon's performance and can't wait to see what else they have in store!

Without further ado, here's our Chat in the Hat with Matt Lowell, Crisanta Baker, and Sam Stewart of Lo Moon:

----

Matt:  If you could invent one Olympic sport, what would it be?

Maybe Broomball.  It’s the most ridiculous sport of all time. It’s like hockey, with brooms, and no skates, on ice.

Crisanta: If you could invite two people to a dinner party, who would they be?

Al Greene and…Patti Smith, I just listened to this podcast with her and that might be an interesting dinner party.

Sam: What is my guilty pleasure song?

I don’t feel I have one, because I don’t feel guilty about any of the songs that I love.  What’s an unpopular song that I really like?

Matt - there’s a couple Katy Perry songs you’re really into

Sam - "Firework" is just a cracker.  Any way you slice it.

Matt - stone cold hit, one of the best songs of all time

Matt: What is the favorite city you’ve toured to?

We had a lot of fun in Kansas City.  I do love Philadelphia though.  And New York is always fun to play cause I'm from there.  It might be one of the most hectic, but also favorite cause its New York and if people come out then you feel special since it's such a big city.

Crisanta: What is the stupidest thing you did in your teens to look cool?

What did I not do?  I had really bad wanna be liberty spikes that didn’t stay up cause my hair was too long for them. I also wore a tutu cause I wanted to prove that I didn’t give a fuck, which i totally did.

Sam: What were your first impressions of your bandmates?

I’m trying to remember.  I met both of you at the same time.  For some reason I thought Crisanta was gay, I really don’t know why.  Matt I just remember being caught off guard cause I wasn’t expecting him to be so outgoing and loud, but not obnoxiousness.  I was relieved, since I joined the band last and I heard a demo or two I had expected some super introvert.

Matt: What is your zombie apocalypse plan?

I don’t think there’s going to be a zombie apocalypse.  I would find a basement that I really like.

Sam - BOOMBALL!

Matt - I would hide myself in the basement, I’d have a tv with hockey on loop, and a guitar and some records and just wait it out.  If they get me they get me.

Crisanta - my family is kind of obsessed with the apocalypse, so there’s a place we’re meeting in Colorado on top of a mountain.  The brothers are going to bring all the samurai swords and guns.

Cristanta: If you could be an animal for the day what would you be?

I would be a humpback whale.  They sing, they’re out there, no one would really fuck with you.

Sam: What would your wild west outlaw gang name be?

The Fuzzy Buzzards
